More Proof SyFi Channel Hates You: Billy Ray Cyrus And Freaky Son Track UFOs In New Show

For anyone out there who didn’t think that the SyFi channel hates you and wants to torture you with crappy programming ( like the list of shows they’ve ordered for the fall ) here’s the absolute, complete proof:

Billy Ray Cyrus will star in a show called “UFO: Unbelievably Freakin’ Obvious ”  with his freak-show child. No, not Miley it’s another one called Trace who makes any parent who ever complained about Hannah Montana thank the gods for that show.

It’s (and here’s the shock) a reality show in which “conspiracy theories involving unexplained activity and paranormal phenomena are investigated” by Cyrus and said freak-show child.

Variety spilled the beans on this winner and here’s a thoughtful and intelligence provoking quote from Dr. Cyrus:

“The existence of paranormal phenomena is something I’ve always wanted to explore further,” Cyrus said. “Getting the opportunity to take this adventure with my son, who has always had a keen interest in this area, is a dream come true. I hope this series can shine a light on some of the activities we have questioned, and the mysteries that have long inspired us.”

Keen interest in the area… and tattoo parlors. One wonders if he’s ever tried the pick up line  “Hey, I’m Hannah Montana’s brother…” at some mall.

To complete the kick the groin of any of the core-audience of the SyFi channel, here’s a quote from some clown at the network:

Said Mark Stern, exec VP of original programming for Syfy: “Allegations of cover-up and conspiracy around unexplained phenomena has inspired heated debate for decades, and it will be interesting to see what truth Billy Ray and Trace may discover.”

Yeah, debate… you betcha and boy did they pick the right guy for this—
