See The Prequel To TRON: UPRISING Right Now!! “Beck’s Beginning” Is Now Online

DisneyXD has graced us with the prequel to TRON UPRISING on YouTube and now you can watch the entire 30 minute episode for free and before it airs on May 18th on the cable channel.

In case you don’t know, TRON UPRISING will take place between the original TRON film and TRON: Legacy film dealing with one program’s rebellion against Clu’s taking over the grid.

I’ve go to say it’s FANTASTIC. Really well done and well written. If Disney stayed away and let these producers and creators do their own thing and not screw it up for them this could be one of the best series to hit in a very long time.

The official synopsis for the show is:

The series follows Beck, a young program who becomes the unlikely leader of a revolution inside the computer world of The Grid. His mission is to free his home and friends from the reign of the villainous Clu and his henchman General Tesler. Beck will be trained by Tron – the greatest warrior the Grid has ever known. Tron will not only teach Beck the fighting skills he needs to challenge this brutal military occupation, but will be a guide and mentor to him as he grows beyond his youthful, impulsive nature into a courageous, powerful leader. Destined to become the new protector of the system, Beck adopts Tron’s persona and becomes the archenemy of Tesler and his oppressive forces.

TRON: Uprising features the voices of Elijah Wood, Mandy Moore, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Lance Henriksen, Paul Reubens, Reginald VelJohnson and Bruce Boxleitner. On top of those announced stars, I just found out that Tricia Helfer is also doing voice work on the show.
