Over at CHUD.COM, Devin Faraci has written a fantastic article about how things ended up so badly for the remake of CLASH OF THE TITANS.
No, I’m not talking about the horrible 3D conversion but about the film itself.
It’s a classic Hollywood horror story of how people think they know what is best and the next thing you know you’ve got a film gutting of what could have made it great.

yep, the movie sucked big time and I avoided the 3D version and went to a 2D theater to save me some money.
Just found this and read that article. I could have been a really great flick even with the crappy 3d conversion– way to go!
Yeah, it’s a real shame when crap like this happens.
it’s like when a studio pays some writer a million dollars for a script and then promptly hands it over to someone else to re-write it.
I saw it after I read this article (yeah, I don’t know why either) but at least I got to see it in 2D.
I could see all the stuff the article was talking about. How scenes seemed to be headed one way and then turned sour.
What a piece of crap.
