No kidding: Princeton researchers find that high-fructose corn syrup prompts considerably more weight gain

In study findings that shouldn’t surprise a lot of people, Princeton University researchers have found that  rats eating high-fructose corn syrup “gained significantly more weight than those with access to table sugar, even when their overall caloric intake was the same.”

So the way I read this, not being a doctor or scientist, this study shows that if you ate 1000 calories of table sugar and 1000 calories of high-fructose corn syrup you will gain a LOT more weight with the high-fructose corn syrup.

Too bad more people won’t read this article and take it to heart.
