The official synopsis is:
A group of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage
The film stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Topher Grace, Wes Bentley, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Ellen Burstyn, David Oyelowo, Bill Irwin, and Matt Damon. The film is set to open on November 7, 2014.
