As many of you know Ron Moore (of Battlestar Galactica fame) is developing and producing for Starz a series based on novels from Diana Gabaldon. The series got a 16-episode order.
The story tells the story of 20th century nurse Claire Randall, who time travels to 18th centuryScotland and finds adventure and romance with the dashing Jamie Fraser. I’ve only read the first book but from what I gather the next books don’t follow the standard sequel expectations. The series will premier in Summer 2014 and will likely be one of the hottest downloads of the season. I have to say that the show looks great.
