Ib Melchior, Screenwriter on ‘Robinson Crusoe on Mars,’ Dies at 97

Very sad news for me. Robinson Crusoe on Mars is a classic and one of my favorite childhood memories from late night TV. On the wall of my office is a still from the film of the two leads and I’m thrilled to say it is autographed by both Paul Mantee and Victor Lundin. It’s a prized possession.

Ib Melchior, Screenwriter for this classic has passed away.
