Eater.com shared the news that will make bacon lovers perk up (I’m sure Cali Lewis already knows about this): Burger King has been testing a “Bacon Sundae” at locations in Nashville and it looks like the results were so good they’re launching it nationwide.
According to the AP, a sundae with “vanilla soft serve with fudge, caramel, bacon crumbles and a piece of bacon” (wait, just one?) will be offered for a limited time this summer
Oh, and the whole thing weighs in at 510 calories. Burger King is not the first to do this — see Denny’s Maple Bacon Sundae and Jack in the Box’s Bacon Milkshake

I feel like it did in the public's mind because of the whole obesity issue. The idea is that American's want to sit down to a pound of bacon and enjoy, where it should be eaten as a flavor. It's like condiments, for the life of me I don't understand why people put a half a pound of Mayo on their sandwich, condiments are supposed to be about flavor not substance.

What I find REALLY funny is that people don't like eating "fatty" bacon. They fail to realize that the large majority of the content of bacon is beautiful, marbled FAT lol
