Kenny G tells Prince to shut the hell up about his friend the Internet!

Yesterday Kenny G challenged Prince to a bare-knuckles Fight Club in the basement of his local Starbucks for his comments over his pal The Internet !

Well, not really. But damn, wouldn’t that have been cool!

But Kenny did have a good laugh at the Purple One and told the AP that if the Internet is dead “then I must be dead, too, ’cause I use it all the time.” He adds with a laugh: “Maybe I’ve got a sixth sense, and I only see dead people. I don’t know.”

And he slides in a Sixth Sense reference too… nice.

Kenny is candid enough to admit that he doubts most of his fan base are Internet saavy but he knows that he has to sell online and he’s no slouch when it comes to knowing how to make a buck:  Kenny G was one of the first 10 investors in Starbucks.

Which is probably why he gets to hold his Fight Club in the basement.
