Been trying it since last night. I like the fact that you can address and create a subject in email just by speaking. I'd say the accuracy is about as good as Dragon Dictation. In theory it learns. We'll see. Along with Dragon Go and Dragon Dictation I imagine it will be a pretty good approximation of what Siri will be able to do on the iPhone 4s. There seems to be some sort of tiered pricing scheme with unlimited email and sms, but I'm not sure what that means as Vlingo makes no mention in the app or the website as to a limit on how many emails and SMSs you can make without paying extra. If I end up running out I'll just go back to using Dragon Dictation.

SANS seem to think Google have already “let Buzz die” in their NewsBites email published on 7th Sept 2010 when talking about the recent lawsuit, I think they may have been thinking of Wave but it looks like Buzz will follow. I’m a big Gmail user and Google Reader user but I have Facebook which I have invested a lot of time in uploading photos (via Picasa as it happens) and building up a comprehensive list of Friends, I have no desire to transfer my Social networking to Google, however if they could come up with a way to tie my two accounts closer together I would be interested, such as have gmail handle all my facebook messaging and integrate my contacts, now that would be cool.

I think that FIOS has something to do with the drop in cable subscribers (as Verizon has intended) and Satellite hasn’t helped any but none of them are doing any of the customers favors and when more and more people are getting their content across the “internet” the cable and satellite and verizon will all jack up their access prices so they can keep making money off people.

We’ll see what Apple has up their sleeves this week, hopefully we’ll see the “iTV” (or whatever it will be called) will hold.

The current rumor is that it will be a 99 dollar device that will run the iOS and kick ass.

It’s easy, it’s fast and involves no commitment to taking the time to write something bigger then a few lines. I see the appeal but as I said, who can read let alone pay attention to 3000 twitter streams at the same time? I use TweetDeck to segregate a lot of the people I follow on twitter but in all honesty I miss most of it unless I go looking for a specific person’s tweets.

I think the last time I actually intentionally watched was when I was giving SG: Universe a chance, the first half of the season. then I gave up ’cause the first half sucked. was told the second half got better, and I may peruse via Netflix, but still. *shrugs* I may have randomly accidentally watched since while incredibly bored, but I’m not really sure…

Give Natalie Portman a good script and a director who is more interested in his actor’s performances then trying to fit in a couple more CGI alien effects (cough-GeorgeLucas-cough) and she is an amazing actress.

I think she regrets ever doing the horrible star wars films… well, probably less on the days when the residual checks come in the mail but even then I’m sure she still thinks they suck.

Man am I glad I caught this before it was taken down. Wow! Looks terrific! And it seems from what I can see that they did this right. The trailer leads me to believe it is character driven, not just in your face mindless explosions and such. Also, there is no need to fear the 3-D conversion. In theaters, I’m sure you will have the choice to see it in 3-D or as it was originally filmed. Best of all, we got to see another old school Thor villain. No, not Loki. The Destroyer! Awesome!!!!

I saw it after I read this article (yeah, I don’t know why either) but at least I got to see it in 2D.

I could see all the stuff the article was talking about. How scenes seemed to be headed one way and then turned sour.

What a piece of crap.
